Welcome to
Timing Chutes®
After years of watching my team hitting off pitching machines, I grew tired of seeing my team struggle with timing while hitting off of pitching machines. I know first hand how hard this is, after hitting off of pitching machines during my playing career. I knew I needed to “dummy” proof timing, because it is arguably the most important aspect of hitting. After much thought, I drew up some ideas that I thought would work. I went to a local steel sales business, bought some steel and went to work. I created the first Timing Chute® with my father’s welder. After trial and error while using it with my own program, we have perfected a consistent roll pattern that gives each timing chute a consistent way to “time” a pitching machine’s pitch.
The Timing Chutes® Advantage
- Replicate seeing a pitcher’s windup
- Be on time and swing consistently!
- Coaches can replicate different pitch timing
One day I was talking to one of my players. He asked me where I bought the “chutes” on our pitching machines? I said, “I made them.” He said, “I used to hate hitting off pitching machines, until I came here. You should start selling them!” After that conversation, I knew we had a product that would make hitting off pitching machines comfortable for all players. And that was when Timing Chutes® was born.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it hard to install a Timing Chute®?
It is as simple as taking 2 to 3 bolts or nuts off the machine, removing the existing chute and rebolting the Timing Chute® on your machine. A box wrench or ratchet wrench is all that is required.
How breakable is the Timing Chute®?
The Timing Chute® is made out of 1/4” steel, it can direct hits from batted balls for years of perfect timing.
How much time does the Timing Chute® create for a hitter?
With the existing chute on pitching machines, each hitter only gets around .3 to .7 of a second to load, see the ball, be on time and swing. With the Timing Chute®, it creates 1.3 to 1.5 seconds for each hitter to load, see the ball, be on time and swing!
